These terms govern your use of Your JP Adventure (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who we are

Your JP Adventure is operated as a personal travel-content project. The Service includes the website, the trip planner, the blog, and any related tools we make available.

Your account

You can use most of the Service without an account. The trip planner requires you to sign up. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law while using the Service.
• Try to interfere with the Service's availability or security.
• Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the content without permission.
• Submit content you don't have the rights to share.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone.

Content and itineraries

We do our best to keep guides, tips, and AI-generated itineraries accurate and current. Travel realities change - opening hours, prices, train schedules, and visa rules can shift without notice. Always verify critical information with official sources before you travel. The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes only and is not professional travel, legal, or financial advice.

Paid plans

Some features (such as multiple route generations, PDF export, and seasonal recommendations) require an Adventure+ subscription. Pricing, billing periods, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

User content

You retain ownership of the trips and notes you create. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and back up your content so the Service can show it to you and to people you choose to share it with. We will not use your trips for marketing without your consent.

Intellectual property

All site content - including text, illustrations, the Tabi-Kun mascot, code, and design - is owned by Your JP Adventure or its licensors. Personal, non-commercial use is welcome. Republishing, redistributing, or training models on this content without written permission is not.

Third-party links and data

The Service links to third-party sites and uses third-party APIs (Google Maps and Places, Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content or availability. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uptime. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your JP Adventure is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be heard exclusively by the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
